Here’s a question I hear a lot, cardio before or after weights? This graphic gives a simple answer to that question.

Unless it’s a warm-up, I personally like to see clients do their cardio after their weights. The reason being – is it easier (use less energy) to keep good form while lifting weights or while doing cardio?

I would want to have as much energy as possible while lifting weights or I’m going to find it harder to maintain my form, as well I’ll begin to fatigue sooner. Lifting weights with 100% energy = better form and more challenging weight. Better form = less chance of an injury.
