One of the main reasons people feel intimidated to go into the weight room is because they don’t know what to do. Weightlifting can get very detailed(depending on goals and experience),but it can also be very simple.
This image shows a basic 3-day workout split to get you started. A Push day, a pull day and a leg will get all the important stuff in. Push – would be an exercise where you’re pushing the weight away from you or think chest, shoulders and triceps. A pull day, would be any exercise that you’re pulling the weight towards your body or think back, biceps and rear delts. And legs explains itself, any leg exercise.
Book the free weight zone or strength circuit zone and try some of these exercises next time you’re in the club.
